Come and do all your Christmas shopping at the Workhouse, there will be demonstrations for you to get involved with, stalls selling local crafts, delicious food, unique gifts, decorations, a portrait photographer, mulled wine, hot chestnuts and more.

Last year we had 30 stalls this year promises to be bigger and better AND INDOORS. The Gallery at The Workhouse will also be open, so you can also see and buy some accomplished art and craft work from around the region.

Come and see what has been happening during the last year to restore the building and improve The Workhouse facilities, the venue and future workshops for rent. Come and get involved with the project or just find out what is going on.

The Devil's Violin is a dynamic combination of music and spoken word.

Storyteller Daniel Morden, joins forces with musicians Oliver Wilson-Dickson (violin), Edward Jay (accordion/guitar) and Sarah Moody (cello) to perform long forgotten Gypsy tales from Wales and elsewhere with music inspired by the passion and energy of the Gypsy tradition.
